Meet Rashad Doucet

Rashad Doucet is from New Orleans by way of Eunice and Ville Platte, Louisiana. He’s been drawing comics since his grandma gave him a pencil and some paper to keep quiet during church. Rashad is an Eisner-winning cartoonist and currently a professor of sequential art at SCAD in Savannah, Georgia, where he can often be found listening watching a ton of K-Dramas. He’s the creator of Art Club, which was an ALA Best Graphic Novel of 2024, the illustrator of Wish I Was Baller by Amar Shah and the upcoming Brainstormerz series writtien by Kwame Alexander and Cassidy Dyce.
